The name of this College has been proposed for the remembrance of the past recollections of American Educational System, culture, heritage, social behaviors, and etiquette which were practically experienced by the Founder Principal Prof. Dr. Md. Shahadot Ali Shaikh. So, from the prospective of the practical experience, he suggested the name "American Friendship College", thus act of naming has been adopted with a view to benefiting from the enriched American System of Education.
